I get very confused on the differences between a tri-colored and a red-winged blackbird. I thought this was a tri-colored but then I go to the books and on the internet and see that it looks different from both. I do know that it's a blackbird. :)

bigoars, we have black ones, too, but there are several types of black birds that aren't all black. I guess that I am lucky! :)

jon, I don't know. We have hundreds of blackbirds around here. :) I am told that they breed in the marshes. We have a marshy area over by the river so I guess that is where they are.
